Constant Care for the Environment
Our motto is “PROTECTING METAL AND NATURE”, and through our responsible behavior, we set an example of how modern technologies can be applied in industrialization while aligning with environmental protection requirements.
Ecological awareness of each individual unequivocally contributes to preserving and protecting the environment. Everyone can have an active impact on their surroundings, especially by acting responsibly toward their living environment. In this regard, we as a responsible company recognize that our activities have certain impacts on the environment; therefore, we identify, monitor, assess, analyze these impacts and undertake measures for improvement.
The foundation lies in understanding ecological issues, the relationship between humans and nature, one’s own ecological behavior, a sense of participation, legal environmental awareness, and respect for the environment around us.
We apply modern solutions for metal protection with a responsible attitude toward the environment and continuous reduction of our carbon footprint. Through innovative technologies and environmentally conscious processes, we work to preserve natural resources and reduce the impact on climate change. We believe that top-quality products are built with respect for nature — therefore, sustainable metal protection remains at the core of everything we do.
We comply with applicable regulations and other requirements the organization has committed to, related to significant environmental aspects, as evidenced by holding the Integrated Permit (IPPC) for the hot-dip galvanizing process — one of the first plants in Serbia to obtain it (permit no. 5 from 2014).
Since the introduction of the Law on Integrated Prevention and Control of Environmental Pollution (2012), a total of 57 integrated permits have been issued (as of January 2025), although initially 220 plants were registered to obtain this permit. In 2025, we renewed our IPPC permit for another 10 years, with even stricter emission limit values and measurement schedules, aligned with the applicable Best Available Techniques (BAT).
